iCanRead is the flagship product fromiCanLearn and has been designed to encourage children to read moreoutside of their time spent at school. Delivered via a simple touse intuitive App, once parents have downloaded iCanRead they canuse it at home to support and engage their children.

We have listened to what parents and teachers want from such anApp and incorporated it all. For example, we have included areading log that can be submitted to the school electronically on aweekly basis, thus replacing manual reading records. Couple thatwith a fun ‘aliens in space’ theme that rewards children forreaching milestones in their reading and the outcome will be achild who is more engaged in his/her reading.

Also included are key elements from the national curriculum areincluded to help parents understand what their child is taught atschool. Features such as a phonic audio dictionary, comprehensionquestions, a punctuation rocket, book reviews and target settingsupport, all ensure parents have all the tools to support theirchild’s reading at home.

Whether an accomplished reader picks up his/her 10th book of theweek, or a non-reader gets excited about reading one book, we planto see progress and get children reading more.
