A Tradução na Linguagem de Hoje,abreviadamente chamada NTLH, é uma tradução da Bíblia em linguagemmoderna e entendível em Língua Portuguesa.
Essa tradução da Bíblia adota uma estrutura gramatical e linguagemmais próximas da utilizada por pessoas mais simples no Brasil.

Pela linguagem mais simples e coloquial, a NTLH é voltada àspessoas que ainda não tiveram ou que tiveram pouco contato com aleitura bíblica clássica. De modo que se tornou uma ferramenta deevangelização por possuir um texto mais claro e facilmentecompreensível, por não primar pela linguagem clássica quegeralmente norteia essas traduções. A nova versão, contudo, nãoutiliza gírias ou regionalismos, fator que, não permitiu que seperdesse o estilo bíblico.

Os princípios seguidos nesta revisão foram os mesmos quenortearam o trabalho da tradução na Linguagem de Hoje. A traduçãode João Ferreira de Almeida e também outras boas traduçõesexistentes em português seguiram os princípios da tradução deequivalência formal. Já a NTLH, norteou-se pelos princípios detradução de equivalência funcional ou dinâmica.

De todo modo, é uma tradução bastante útil por aproximar o textobíblico da linguagem geralmente falada pelas pessoas no dia adia.

The translation Today'sEnglish Version, hereinafter called NLT, is a Bible translation inmodern and understandable language in Portuguese.
This translation of the Bible takes a grammatical structure andclosest language used by simple people in Brazil.

For simpler language, colloquial, the NKJV is geared to peoplewho have not had or had little contact with classical biblicalreading. So that became an evangelization tool for having a clearerand more easily understandable text, not strive for classicallanguage that usually guides these translations. The new version,however, does not use slang or regionalisms, a factor that did notallow to lose the biblical style.

The principles followed in this review were the same that guidedthe work of translation Today's English Version. The translation ofKing James and also other good existing translations in Portuguesefollowed the principles of formal equivalence translation. AlreadyNKJV, guided by the principles of translation of functional ordynamic equivalence.

Anyway, it is a very useful translation by approaching thebiblical text of the commonly spoken language by people on a dailybasis.
