About Rock-paper-scissors:

Rock-paper-scissors is a zero sum hand game usuallyplayedbetween two people, in which each player simultaneously formsoneof three shapes with an outstretched hand. These shapes are"rock"(a simple fist), "paper" (a flat hand), and "scissors" (afist withthe index and middle fingers together forming a V). Thegame hasonly three possible outcomes other than a tie: a player whodecidesto play rock will beat another player who has chosenscissors("rock crushes scissors") but will lose to one who hasplayed paper("paper covers rock"); a play of paper will lose to aplay ofscissors ("scissors cut paper"). If both players throw thesameshape, the game is tied and is usually immediately replayedtobreak the tie. Other names for the game in theEnglish-speakingworld include roshambo and other orderings of thethree items,sometimes with "rock" being called"stone".[1][2][3]
