The Ollie is the first trick thatmostskateboarders learn. Learning to ollie makes sense – the ollieisthe foundation of almost all flatland and parkskateboardingtricks. Once you learn how to ollie, you’ll be able tomove on tolearning all kinds of other skateboarding tricks, orinventing yourown skateboarding tricks.

If you are brand new to skateboarding, you may want to takesometime getting used to riding your skateboard (read Just StartingOutSkateboarding) before learning to ollie. Of course, it istotallyup to you – if you are aggressive and want to learn to ollieonyour skateboard before learning how to actually ride, that’s uptoyou!
