In January 2015, Citizenship andImmigrationCanada (CIC) launched a new electronic system calledExpress Entryto manage applications for permanent residence underthese federaleconomic immigration programs:

- The Federal Skilled Worker Program
- The Federal Skilled Trades Program
- The Canadian Experience Class

You can submit your application for an assessment undertheCanadian Express Entry program.

The Express Entry system will replace the earlier systemwhichwill continue till 31st December 2015. The Express Entrysystem isdesigned to be a better and faster system of economicimmigrationto Canada. A strong emphasis on language skills andeducationalassessment continues from the earlier system.

A significant jump in the emphasis on having a job offer fromaCanadian employer is the key differentiation in the newsystem.Applicants for immigration to Canada who are able to connectwithCanadian employers, will be able to reach Canada within afewmonths.
