Electrons emitted by the glowing cathode are accelerated towardsthe anode. As the electrode beam impacts on the anode, the highkinetic energy of the electrons is converted into x-ray quanta. Thespectrum produced consists of bremsstrahlung and characteristicradiation.

By means of a playcontrol, the animation can be stopped andmoved fore- or backward whenever you want.

This application is suitable for the cooperation withinteractive whiteboards and tablets.
