Advanced Firewall is an educational Android app for learningthe

basic of network packet filtering. The App can be also used tocreate

filtering rules and/or select filtering rules from a list ofpredefined

rules, to protect Android mobile phones from unwantedincoming

and/or outgoing network traffic. The App’s users should havebasic

knowledge about TCP/IP protocols.

Advanced Firewall app allows performing the following:

- Select filtering rules from a list of predefined rules tofilter standard

Internet services.

- Create basic filtering rules to filter TCP and UDP networktraffic.

That is, the filtering rules are defined by setting the valuesof the

source/destination IP addresses and the source/destinationports.

- Create basic filtering rules to filter ICMP network traffic.That is,

the filtering rules are defined by setting the values of the

source/destination IP addresses and the ICMP Type/Codefields.

- Create filtering rules to filter TCP and UDP services runningon non-

standard ports.

- View the logs data of filtered network packets.
