UPS GPD is used by UPS employees & contractors to deliver andpickup packages

UPS Employees can enjoy the convenience of performing thedeliveryand pickup functionality for usage on the road on theirpersonaldevice. The intuitiveness of the application guides youthrough thesteps for completing the activity. The employee that isplannedwithin the system will be provided with a manifest of theirstopswith ability to use navigation using their local maps. On eachstopthe employee is provided stop details with any specificuniqueaccessorials (COD, Signature Required, Adult SignatureRequired) ornotes associated to that stop (Beware of Dog). Based onthoseaccessorials the application will guide you through the bestway tocomplete the delivery process. Can’t complete the delivery?Noproblem the application also has the exceptions you would needtoproperly status for the customer. Also, employees can enjoytheability of building a manifest within the application byscanningthe packages they will be servicing and through theintegratedtechnology pull those stops into their manifest.Completing pickupfunctionality can also be performed from withinthe application.Two way communication between the local center andyou allows forengaging on updates as necessary. The use of thisapplication isavailable in full when the UPS employee signs upthrough the BYODprocess.
