It gives me great pleasure to present Freehandby Hooolm as a launcher theme that's designed to work with Apex,Nova, ADW, Go and Action Launcher.That means that HAVING A ROOTED DEVICE IS NOT REQUIRED. You'llonly need a custom launcher like Nova, Apex, ADW, Go or ActionLauncher. (Those are the ones I explicitly support)It contains a bunch of popular app icons and a few wallpaperstoo. The latest branch of my glasswareportfolio brings you my first set of real 3D icons. I don't knowwhat it is about glass, but it really pokes my creativity andcuriosity. In this case, the creation took an awful lot of time - afair amount of which I spent learning how to turn my 2D-centricwork flow into proper 3D.But here it is! SPATIAL GLASS. Because it really testedmy...spatial...awareness. So there.I've gone for a look of organically sculpted glass in a shadedenvironment. Every icon is properly modeled in 3D, raytraced andrendered, and it all looks absolutely stunning.As is customary, there's a pretty dashboard with apply-buttonsfor most of the major launchers, a couple of internal/externalwallpapers, links to my social media presences and variousinteresting online resources.Supported launchers include Action Launcher, ADW, Apex, Atom,Aviate, Inspire, KK, Nine, Solo, Themer and Unicon. These aresupported to various degrees. Others might work.Next Launcher is partially supported, in that it seems to beable to use my icons, but it's not a complete Next theme.I've heard mixed reports about TSF Shell, but I really don'twant to hear a word about neither that, nor GO Launcher or MiniLauncher. Sooo..... this is kind of a protest song.I noticed a couple of so-called black & white "icon packs"on Google Play, claiming to offer "Every icon themed" or at least"literally thousands of icons".Which sounds quite impressive. Really, really impressive with anapp that weighs in at maybe 67kb? That's kilobytes, yeah.It seems reasonable to assume that no actual creative effort isinvolved, but rather 3 lines of code in a file called shader.xml -achieving the result that all icons appear desaturated. It gets thejob done. Which is nice. Really, really nice, if you can alsoconvince people that you've done an actual icon pack and have thempay up to $2 for something that took you more time to upload andlist than it took to actually make.So I wanted to make you the same deal for free.Now, I'm all for supply and demand. If people are happy to payfor nothing, great.Which is why you're reading this : A donate version that clocks inat $10.It doesn't do anything that the free version doesn't.It doesn't add any additional features, since the business parthappens in code, not insert-photoshop-equivalent-here.And I will never ever provide any meaningful updates. The icons are downright magical, becauseon adark background you can see the blurred outline of themotive,while they will cast a shadow on bright backgrounds.
