Bizkaibus Bizkaiko Foru Aldundia - Provincial Council of Bizkaia

Bizkaiako Bidegorriak provides information on the cycling routesandbidegorris or bike lanes in Bizkaia. The map of Bizkaia showsthesections already implemented, those under construction andthose inthe pipeline. In addition to the existing information onthenetwork, it shows locations of interest, including: publiccyclescheme, intermodality system with public transport, museums,pointsof landscape and natural interest, points of culturalinterest,beaches, rest and recreational areas, along withinformation andtourism points. Taking the existing network as thestarting point, aseries of routes are proposed: Barakaldo - Muskiz(27 km), Muskiz -Itsaslur (18 km), Areeta - Bolue (14 km), Cruces- Ansio (12 km), LaCuadra - Zalla (14 km), Zalla - La Mella (12km), Basauri - Atxuri(8.5 km), Arrigorriaga - Abusu (9.5 km),Lekeitio - Aulesti (14 km),Forua - Sukarrieta (14 km), Gallarta -Galdames (18 km), Zeanuri -Areatza (12 km), Areatza - Dima (7 km),Galdames - Artzentales (22.6km). The proposed itinerary for eachof them is shown on the map,along with the following informationon the route: - Briefdescription of the route. - A leaflet in PDFformat that describethe route in detail. - Itinerary profile. -Video of the route. -Possibility to download the itinerary in GPXformat. The leafletsand videos can be seen without having toselect a specific route, asa list of each type is available. Usingthe app's menu, you canchange the basic map type and decidedwhether or not to activate thedifferent locations of interestdescribed above. There is thepossibility of selecting a startingpoint and a destination, and thecycle route between them is shownusing the Google Maps services.(*) The following specificationsare recommended for standard use: -Version 4.0 or above of theAndroid operating system. - At least 1Gb of memory. If the devicesdo not meet those specs, the app mayrun slowly when displayingscreen options and responding to queries.
