MeteoGalicia presents MeteoSIX Mobile. Check the meteorologicalandoceanographic forecast for any place of the south-west ofEuropeand its coast. MeteoSIX allows you to search among more than29500towns and 820 beaches. You can also select any place on themap, onland or sea, and get the forecast for that point. You cancheck thehourly forecast for the following variables: - Sky state-Temperature - Precipitations - Wind - Snow level -Relativehumidity - Cloud coverage - Air pressure at sea level -Wavedirection, height and period - Water temperature - Watersalinity -Sunrise and sunset hours - Tides height MeteoSIX Mobileallows youto save your favourite places, so that you can access totheirforecast quickly and also to the forecast for yourcurrentlocation. It also includes a widget that allows you to havetheforecast for your location or any of your favouriteshandy.IMPORTANT: to be able to use the widget the application mustbeinstalled in the device's internal storage, not in the SDcard(Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications->MeteoSIX Mobile -> Move to phone). The main differencewithother applications is its georeferenced nature. The datadisplayedfor any point comes directly from the outputs of thecomputerweather models of MeteoGalicia, without human supervision.Theresolution of the models depends on the area, beign greaterinGalicia. To get the data, the application accesses thepublicMeteoSIX API, which can be freely used by any user.
