Description

This application measures the CPU andmemoryperformance of your Android phone or tablet by running asuite of13 benchmark tests. The suite includes several popularbenchmarkssuch as WhetStone, LinPack, QSort, Ackermann and SieveofEratosthenes

Each test is run in a native context, coded in C++, and inamanaged/Dalvik context, coded in Java. Both contexts alwaysexecutethe same computational workload.

All test results are reported in milliseconds (ms). A lowerscoreis better than a higher one.

On a single core device a single thread is used to executealltests.

On a multi-core device, multi-threading is used. Threepasseswill be performed on a multi-core device. The totalcomputationalworkload is the same for each pass. The first will usea singlethread. The second will use two threads, and the third willusefour threads. The total execution time for fast devices, whichareusually multi-core, may take longer than slow devices becausetheentire suite is executed three times.

Your score is the sum of the execution times of all tests,bothnative and managed. On multi-core devices, the minimum sum ofthethree passes will be used.

After you run the tests, you may compare your results tootherphones or tablets. This requires an Internet connection. Youwillbe prompted to enter a short description of your device. Enterashort description and include your initials. That way, youandothers will be able to better identify your results.

The app will save up to 10 sets of results, which youmayretrieve and compare. Overclockers and ROM builders lovethisfeature. You may also compare your results to others.

The app includes native binaries for armeabi, armeabi-v7aandx86.
