Swachh is an initiative and acommunityplatform to motivate people towards developing a cleanerIndia. Theidea was kickstarted when Prime Minister Narendra Modiofficiallylaunched Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Campaign Clean India) on2 October2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi, himself wielded broom andcleaned aroad.

When a prime minister can, why not we? This is the thoughtthatmade us to work on this initiative. Prime Minister’s appealtoevery citizen of India is to dedicate 100 hours every year.Itcomes around just 2 hours in a week. It is very less than thetimethat we spend to watch a movie. We make the Government’smission assimple as possible for you. We will make the platformopen to youwhere you can contribute towards the mission. Being astudent,professional, housewife, retired employee, everyone willdefinitelyhave a role here. Right now we have made our mobile, web,socialplatforms for the people to contribute.

When Narendra modi announced the project, he nominated9celebrities to continue the mission as a chain event similar tothepopular ice bucket challenge. We have already seenrespectablecelebrities like Sachin Tendulkar, Priyanka Chopra,Salman khanstarted the mission on their way. Do we need to waittill someonenominates you? why not we be proactive and be aresponsiblecitizen?

To answer the question, how will our platform be helpfultowardsthe mission? Say, one of the member found a dirty place orpotholesomewhere nearby his location, he/she can immediately takeapicture of it from their mobile phone using our app. They canenterall the possible details before uploading. Then we willintimatepeople from around that place regarding that. Basically ourapp iscompletely geo location based. Whenever you move to a newplace,you can see all the posted dirty places around that area.Once youare interested towards cleaning up the dirty place, youcanvoluntarily add yourself and also you can communicate withothervolunteers within the app. That makes the job easier when mostofthe volunteers are your friends from Facebook. We will also helpinorganizing the Swachh initiative with the help of NGOs and alsoifpossible with the help from Government.

We are speaking with people from NGOs, Schools,Colleges,Corporates on helping our platform. We will have our firstofficialSwachh program in the coming month. We are gathering abunch oflocations towards the initiative. We will finalize once wedecidewhere more people can contribute or if we can do it inparallel onmultiple locations. Our goal is to make peoplecontribute a fewminutes through the easiest way possible.

It will be ofgreathelp to us in achieving this mission together successfully.When wehave achieved India’s Mars Mission at the first attemptitself andalso at a far lesser budget, mission towards Clean Indiais nevergoing to be a tough task.

App works completely based on User's location. So we willhaveaccess to GPS data. But we will use it ONLY for fetchingdetailsinside the app and NOT for any other purposes. Also we don'tstorethe data anywhere.
