With the neodrives smartConnect app on your smartphone you obtainuseful additional functions. The app serves as an informationcenter, which is always at hand. You can record the e-bike and mapdata of your tour and evaluate them afterwards. As in-app purchaseyou unlock the Easy Navi module, the perfect complement for touringcyclists and urban explorers. You get worldwide offline maps basedon Open Street Maps (OSM). The start-finish navigation guides youthrough scenic landscapes and e-bike-friendly bicycle routes. Byconnecting the smartphone to the sMMI Connect via Bluetooth, aturn-by-turn navigation is displayed on your sMMI Connect. Thesmartphone can be safely stowed in the pocket. Please note forAndroid 6 or higher: To use the app, all permissions must beaccepted. You will be asked at the first app launch to confirmeverything with "Allow". Subsequently the permissions in theapplication manager -> smart connect -> permissions can beactivated. The map can now also be displayed in the MMI. However,the neodrives app must be actively open in the foreground of thesmartphone when the smartphone display will be locked. To run thenew version of the app in combination with the sMMI Connect, anupdate of the sMMI Connect to the latest version is required. Theapp is compatible for the neodrives Z15 system (up to model year2017) and not compatbile to the Z20 sytem (starting from model year2018).
