TipCharge is a smartphone app that makes iteasier being an owner of an electric car (e-car). The map displaysEV charging posts all over the world as a service to all users. Youwill easily find the nearest charging post, get route descriptionand get useful information of the charging post. No more will youhave to worry about finding a charging station.

Main features include:
• EV charger finder – map displays charging posts all over theworld
• Find nearest charging station
• Search by address
• Search by features such as sockets and payment methods
• Get route and driving instructions
• Add chargers
• Panorama view and Google Street View

When you open TipCharge, the phone’s GPS will detect yourcurrent position and find the five nearest charging posts. Bytapping the small charging post icon, a popup will appear. Here youwill find information such as address, distance and position. Otheravailable information may be price and number of sockets. Tap theroute icon to see the route from your current position to thecharging post at the map – also you can request drivinginstructions by sending the information to the phone’s navigationby tapping the Directions button. To get more information such aspayment methods and socket information you must tap the “i”icon.

If you would like to search for charging posts with specificfeatures you may do so using the search filters – to access theseyou must drag down the curtain by the small handle at the top ofthe window. Here you can tick socket information such as Volt, youmay tick your preferred payment method, or choose to search forquick chargers only. This way you will only see the charging poststhat match your exact need.

Other options are to search by a certain address or to set a newposition any place you want by double-tapping on the map.

Special features are the Google Street View, where you will beable to see how the surroundings look for a chosen charging post –this is useful if you are going to a new place and don’t know howthat place looks. Also the Panorama View is a useful tool. Tap thebutton and hold the phone in front of you. The phone will now usethe camera lens and detect the charging posts nearest to you. Movethe phone around and see the emerging icons.

TipCharge app can be used by everybody as an open service.However, you will have access to more features if you register. Ifyou register you will be able to add chargers to TipCharge. Anybodycan add chargers to TipCharge.

In the personal settings area, you can manage your settings interms of filters, how many charging posts to see and much more.
