ARで絶滅した生物を調べてみよう！

この地球には、過去に多くの生物が誕生し、そのほとんどがさまざまな要因で絶滅していったと考えられています。地球の歴史をひもとくと、5回もの大量絶滅の時期があったといわれています。
カナダのブリティッシュ・コロンビア州にあるバージェス頁岩（けつがん）からは、約5億500万年前（カンブリア紀）に生息していたとされる、さまざまな生物の化石が見つかっています。
このアプリでは、カメラで写した映像に青色の要素が多く含まれていると、そこをカンブリア紀の海と見立てて、その映像の上にバージェス頁岩から見つかった生物をよみがえらせます。
Burgess Scope（バージェス・スコープ）を使って、カンブリア紀の地球の海の様子を調べに行ってみましょう！

【遊び方】
1. 「かくにん」ボタンを押して、カメラで画面全体に青いものを写すと、画面内に生物が現れ ます。
2. 正面に向けると水中の生物、下に向けると海底の生物を見ることができます。
3. 画面中央のスコープ内に生物がいるときに、その生物にタッチすると、くわしく見ることができます。
4. 詳細画面で生物の画像にタッチすると、360°viewモードになります。
5. 360°viewモードでは、指を左右にスライドさせると、生物を回転させていろいろな方向から見ることができます。
6.生物は全部で13種類います。「生物リスト」にタッチすると、自分がくわしく見た生物がカラーで表示されます。全13種類の生物を見つけて、『バージェス博士』を目指しましょう！
※初回起動時に、データ（51MB）のダウンロードが必要です。ダウンロードしないと遊ぶことができませんので、ご注意ください。また、旧バージョンでデータをダウンロードしていても、再度ダウンロードが必要になる場合がございます。

【技術】
このアプリには、AR（Augmented Reality拡張現実）という技術が使われています。ARとは、コンピュータ等を用いて現実の物体や情景に何らかの付加情報を重ねて表示することで、現実を拡張・補強する技術です。
BurgessScopeでは、カメラでとらえた映像に青色の要素が多く含まれていると、その映像の上に絶滅した生物のCGを重ねて表示しています。
