The place name of Priorat has been associated with wine for manycenturies. Its landscape has been defined by the steeply sloping,traditional “coster” vineyards and optimum climatic conditionswhich favour the complete ripening of the grapes grown here on asoil which is dominated by the characteristic “llicorella” or slateof the Priorat.
