Description

The aim of this app is to introduce you to the basic conceptsunderlying the grammar of Modern English. These are the grammaticalrules which you follow automatically when you speak or write, butmay not be able to explain or analyse. The app features a book andthe interactive exercises based on it. It will enable you to learnthe skills and terminology needed for grammatical analysis. It aimsto describe the structure of English, not to lay down the law about"good" grammar. However, as you use it, you should become moreaware of how effective communication is achieved. This teachingpackage has been developed by the University of Glasgow's STELLAproject.
