Desert Stormfront is a Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game situated intheMiddle East. You play on hot desert landscapes for power andoil.Units at your disposal include Humvees, Tanks, Artillery,Mechanics,Helicopters, Planes, Ships and Submarines amongstothers. DesertStormfront supports multiplayer games over LAN andinternetincluding co-op multiplayer. The game features 30pre-definedcampaign missions where you take command of the Westerncoalitionand fight battles in the Middle East for control of majorcities,oil fields and military structures. Nations in play are theUSA,England, France, Italy, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt,Afghanistanplus a rebel faction. Desert Stormfront contains arandom mapgenerator in addition to the 30 campaign missions.Scenarios includeeliminating enemy forces, capturing the flag,defending againstincoming troops, convoy missions, sea and airbattles as well astank fights. The game keeps track of high scoresand playingstatistics. IMPORTANT: Please note that the gamerequires a screenresolution of 800x480 pixels or higher. Althoughthe game still runson a lower resolution, not all GUI elementswill be renderedproperly. The game has been thoroughly tested andruns at about 30+frames/seconds.
