Located four miles west of Antigo WI, inasetting bordering the junction of two branches of the EauClaireRiver, sits Riverview Golf Course and its recentlyestablished homedevelopment, The Enclave at River Oaks.

Opened in 1963, the nine-hole, par 36 layout plays to 2718yardsfrom the forward tees to as long as 3131 yards from theback.Players of all ability levels will be treated to a fairandchallenging experience. They will enjoy a scenic journey aroundthevariety of holes, typical of Northern Wisconsin. Tee-shots willbedriven into fairways of varied widths, while approach shots willbetargeted to some greens that are quite flat and otherwithappreciable slope. There are only a few bunkers, but waterhazardsare plentiful. Elevation changes are almost non-existent,resultingin the course being easy to walk.

The Kretz family, owners of the Riverview Golf Course,takespride in establishing a family-oriented atmosphere. Both thedailyand seasonable fees are very affordable and discounts areofferedduring the less-active times of each day. Discounts are forjuniors, seniors, couples and especially families, when juniors upto 14years old and accompanied by an adult, can play free onSundayafternoons. There is also a summer-long junior program, withkidsfrom age five through high school participating

Other amenities available include a well-stocked golf shopandsnack-bar that offers sandwiches and beverages to golfers ofallages. Practice facilities include a putting green, chippinggreenwith a bunker, and an expansive targeted range where eventhelongest hitters can use their entire bag of clubs. Lessons arealsoavailable by reservation.

2008 brought the establishment of The Enclave at River Oaks, a16site home development around and within the Riverview property.Thisresulted in the beginning of an on-going remodeling project onthecourse. New tees have been constructed for some holes, addingmorelength and challenge for the lower handicap golfers. Otherprojectsare being planned for the near future.
