This is a 15 turn version of Conflicts:Italian Campaign 19431-1945, which is a turn based strategy gameset on the Mediterranean Theater during the Second World War.

You are in command of the Allied forces invading the Italy - thesoft underbelly of the axis.While Italians didn't have too muchfight left in them, the German armed forces threw in their mountainand paratrooper formations, making the Allied progress in themiddle of the mountains very slow, and painstakingly costly.

In order to be a victorious general, you must learn to coordinateyour attacks in two ways. First, as adjacent units give support toan attacking unit, keep your units in groups in order to gain localsuperiority. Secondly, it is rarely the best idea to use bruteforce when it is possible to encircle the enemy and cut off itssupply lines instead.
