The law of recitation of the prophet on the basis of the scholarsthere are ten opinions, namely: -Ibnu Jarir ath Thobari argues thatshalawat is a mustahabbat (sunnah) and he considers that this isthe ijma of the scholars. -Ibnu al Qishor and other scholars argueon the contrary that ijma 'ulama obliges generally withoutlimitation, but at least allowed is one time. -Abu Bakar ar Rozifrom the scholars of Hanafi madhhab, ibn Hazm and others thinkobliged in every prayer or the other as the word tauhid. AlQurthubi, a mufassir, argued that no dispute would be obligatoryfor a lifetime and he was obliged to be obliged in every day ofsunnah, this opinion had been revealed by Ibn Athiyah. -ImamShafi'i and his followers believe that shalawat is obliged to sitin the final prayer between tasyahud and greetings. The opinion ofShafi'i and Ishaq bin Rohwaih is obligatory at the time oftasyahud. -Abu Ja'far al Baqir argues that shalawat is required inprayer without any specialization. -Abu Bakr bin Bukair from Malikimadhzabs argue that it is obligatory to reproduce without anylimitation of certain amount. -At Thohawi and the scholars of theHanafi madrasah, al Halimi and a group of scholar Shafi'i scholarsbelieve that shalawat is required when mentioned the name of theProphet saw. Ibnul Arobi from the Madiki sect thought that this wasa caution, as well as Zamakhsyari az. -Az Zamakhsyari argued thatshalawat was obliged once in every occasion although the mentionwas repeated. -He also believes that prayer is obligatory in everyprayer (Fathul Bari juz XI page 170 - 171)
