Garage Museum of Contemporary Art presents amobile application developed especially for theexhibition Russian Performance: A Cartography of itsHistory.
Russian Performance is the first exhibition to explore acentury of the medium’s history and unique traditions inRussia. Spanning the early experiments of the Futurists to theradical actions of today, the project also emphasizes thesignificance of Russian performance in an internationalcontext.
With this app you can take a fascinating journey through theexhibition by choosing one of 12 possible routes, each associatedwith one of the exhibition’s main themes: slogan, sound, landscape,body, staging, interactive object, communication, scenography,intervention, costume, text, and city. Each route will lead youalong a unique path from the avant-garde to the present day andwill provide unprecedented access to materials which cannot befound in the show.
As part of the app, you will also be able to create your ownperformance, which will allow you to enter to win exclusivebenefits as part of the Garage ARTFRIEND membership program.
