Adventures Into Darkness is a Golden Agecomicsseries that ran for 10 issues from August 1952-1954. Theseries waspublished by Nedor Comics. Nedor Comics was the comicbook line ofpublisher Ned Pines, who also published pulp magazinesunder avariety of company names (primarily Standard, Better andThrilling)that he also used for the comics. In business from 1939to 1956,Nedor was a prolific publisher during the Golden Age ofcomic books.Its best-known character is The Black Terror. In Juneof 1949, allcomics were moved to the "Standard Comics" line, witha "StandardComics" flag-like cover logo (all titles previously hadno publisherlogo, which was the norm at the time). In 1956,Standard ended andonly two were continued by Pines Comics. Whatconnection this newcompany had with Ned Pines and his company isunclear.
