Die App wurde von WizzyEducation Technologies SA entwickelt. Die Computer-Lernprogrammevon Wizzy werden in der Schweiz, in Frankreich und in Kanada inverschiedenen Schulen und Stufen benutzt.

Die Flashcards funktionieren nach dem Lernkartei-Prinzip: AlleKarten starten im ersten Stapel. Wenn man ein Wort weiß, wandertdie Karte in den nächsten Stapel. Dort bleibt sie für einige Tage,bis sie wieder abgefragt wird. Wörter, die man nicht weiß, kehrenin den ersten Stapel zurück. So werden gezielt Wörter wiederholt,die man weniger gut beherrscht.
