It was initially developed as a fix for battery drain issues onSamsung Galaxy Nexus: some devices randomly detect a powerconnection without any charger being actually connected to thephone. This would drain the battery because of the screen turningon to display the "Charging" message, multiple times per hour tillscreen timeout.

SnooZy is an open source project, available on GitHub https://github.com/mudar/SnooZy. Source code isreleased under the GPLv3 license from the Free SoftwareFoundation.

Some users have asked about uninstalling the app: first you'llneed to deactivate the app as a Device Manager. There's a shortcutfor that in SnooZy's settings (last item). If that fails, you needto go to Android settings / Security / Device Administrators anddeactivate SnooZy. Once deactivated, you can uninstall as usual.Please note that this is an Android feature, not SnooZy's!
