Il Club Alpino si rivolge a chi ha passione per la natura e lamontagna, condivide con noi il rispetto dell'ambiente, la scopertadella cultura e la solidarietà tra gli uomini. Dal 1863 il CAI èpresente in Italia per valorizzare e far conoscere le Alpi el’Appennino.
Dal 1983 è stata costituita la Sezione CAI a Palestrina.
L’iscrizione al CAI è una scelta a favore delle montagnepromuovendo l'alpinismo, l’escursionismo, la sosta nei rifugi e neipaesi, l’attenzione al binomio cultura e natura, per la tuteladelle risorse ed il miglioramento socio-economico delle popolazionilocali.
È importante sostenere l'azione e l'impegno di una piccola SezioneCAI con soci appassionati ed amici, come nel caso di Palestrina,antica città che sorge sull’antica Praeneste (II secolo a.C.),posta sulle pendici del Monte Ginestro, una delle sommità dei montiPrenestini.

The Alpine Club caters to those with a passion for nature and themountain, shares our respect for the environment, the discovery ofculture and solidarity among men. Since 1863 the CAI is present inItaly for enhancing and promoting the Alps and the Apennines.
Since 1983 it was founded the CAI section in Palestrina.
Registration for the CAI is a choice in favor of promoting mountainclimbing, hiking, stop shelters and in the countries, the attentionto the combination of culture and nature, for the protection ofresources and the improvement of the socio-economic localpopulations.
It is important to support the work and commitment of a smallsection CAI members with fans and friends, as in the case ofPalestrina, the ancient city that lies on the ancient Praeneste(second century BC), located on the slopes of Mount Ginestro, oneof Prenestini top of the mountains.
