This application is a first-of-a-kind modern digital musiclibraryof Armenian traditional songs and instrumental music. Itincludesmore than 500 pieces from the Armenian golden nationalcollection,compiled into a single record library spanning folk,spiritual andinstrumental music. Three hundred folk, 100 spiritualand 100instrumental pieces, as well as minstrel music, have beenrecordedso far. The list includes songs and music from thehistoricalregions of both Western and Eastern Armenia. Theapplication can bebrowsed in English, Russian, Armenian (bothEastern and Westerndialects). The “Traditional Armenian MusicTreasury” culturalproject is implemented by the “CulturalRenaissance” Fund sinceFebruary 2014. The idea was conceived inAugust 2013, and theproject aims to create a modern digital libraryof Armenian folkand spiritual songs, in conformity withinternational standards.
